Back in June 2012, just after their maiden flight, Scoot Airlines has announced that they will fly to Taipei (Taiwan) and Tokyo (Japan) starting from October 2012. And now as ticket sales to Taipei are opening, Scoot Airlines brought forward their first flight to Taipei originally planned for October to 18 September 2012. Currently Scoot's budget sister Tiger Airways, Jetstar and Malaysia's AirAsia provides budget flights from Singapore to Taipei.
According to the Flyscoot web site (official web site of Scoot Airlines) flying bananas offer promotional tickets starting from 88 SGD for economy and 248 SGD for business (called ScootBiz).
Scoot Airlines, the long haul budget arm of Singapore Airlines, has just started their services with a maiden fly from Singapore to Gold Coast (Australia) and has announced Bangkok (Thailand), Gold Coast (Australia), Tianjin (China), (Australia), Tokyo (Japan) and Taipei (Taiwan) as their destinations from Singapore. Scoots Singapore - Golden Coast service, which runs 5 times a week, is the first and only direct service between Singapore and the Gold Coast, a popular tourist destination in Australia:
"Scoot’s five-times-weekly services depart from Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 at 10.25pm, and arrive at Gold Coast Airport at 7.50am the following day. The return flight departs the Gold Coast at 9.00am and arrives into Singapore at 3.00pm, offering connections to many of the 220 cities in 60 countries accessible from one of the world’s premier air hubs."
