Thai women charged for insulting sexy dance in front of a temple
Two Thai women performing a sexy dance in front of a historical Thai temple, Wat Chaiwatthanaram in Ayutthaya, charged for performing 'insulting' sexy dance. The five-minute video clip, which is posted on YouTube, shows Ms Thannicha Nampanya (27) and Ms Nitikarn Chotthanapongsathit (30) dancing in front of the Unesco World Cultural Heritage site. The women turned themselves in after the video went viral and charged with violating a section of the Ancient Monuments, Antiquities and National Museums Act.
The video shows both women wearing short red dresses and according to Rawat Prasong, the assistant governor of Ayutthaya, both their dance and attire were inappropriate.
