Niche Profit Classroom review

I have registered to Niche Profit Classroom (NPC) a couple of months ago after a friend of mine recommended it to me. I am usually in favor of making authority sites like Asia Singapore but exploring other online money making opportunities like niche web site creation was on my to-do list so I gave it a try. Niche Profit Classroom is very easy to try, they offer $1 trial for one month to explore what it offers. There are no obligations and hidden cost with this membership and you can cancel it anytime (although I have not experience cancellation process because I was quite happy with the material and went for full membership). They pay you back your money if you cancel your trial without any questions asked. So if you think it is not for you, you can simply discontinue which makes NPC highly worthwhile to try on your own.

First, let me explain what is NPC? Niche Profit Classroom (NPC) is one of the most popular internet marketing educational sites which is membership-only program and is run by Adam Short. NPC provides detailed video training classrooms on different ways to make money online through internet marketing as well as methods and tools to help the members to make money as fast as possible.

NPC does not deviate from the simple proven formula of making money online through niche online marketing. Steps are same:

  • Select profitable niche topics.
  • Create rich, search engine friendly and informative web sites around these topics.
  • Use Search Engine Optimization  to create organic traffic to this web sites
  • Use affiliate marketing (physical or digital) and/or CPC advertisements to generate income from these sites.

The difference is the "methods" NPC provides to execute each step right. There are many ways to do each of these steps "wrong" and waste a lot of time and money, and there are a "few" steps to execute them right. Although on job training is a valuable experience, you should not try to invent the wheel again but instead go for proven methods. Buying a book on the topic and following it is a way to go. But NPC provides much more.

NPC comes with step-by-step video training on how to create a profitable website from scratch and exclusive software and tools, including the Market Profiler, Niche Profit Press Website Builder, MoneyWord Matrix Keyword Tool, 15-Minute Sales Letter Wizard, and 15-Minute Newsletter Wizard, and the Niche Profit Control Panel.

Step-by-step video training is quite comprehensive and detailed and well suits for a complete newbie as well as moderately experienced people in internet marketing. And the software tools are simply addictive. When you start to use them, you will feel surprised how you have survived before (if you have survived) without them.

Although NPC is more on niche web site creation, the material significantly benefits those who create larger online marketing contents like blogs or authority sites. And what was addictive most about the site is the group of software tools which reduced my manual online search tasks significantly (main reason I have stayed as a member).

Take Keyword Analyzer. You can do what this tool offers completely manually using free services like Google Keywords Tool in combination of search but it will take hours to get some valuable results for each keyword. Keyword Analyzer on the other hand automates almost entire process.

What I liked most about NPC is quantifying each selection process (which topics, which keywords, which domain names, etc ...) in a way that you simply end up with almost like a mathematical formula to qualify and disqualify niche web site ideas. And these formulas are embedded into software suites like keyword Analyzer and Market Profiler so you save a lot of time.

NPC membership looks expensive at a glance. But if you apply what they teach to action, it will be a fraction of what you can earn online so ROI is still very high. What I like about the NPC courses are although in the marketing videos Adam Short sounds a little like one of those get-rick-quick gurus, the material he provides is "no-nonsense" and hard working guy type of stuff. The message is simple: If you execute these steps with a disciplined work, you will make money.

One more thing: Although I have not tried it yet, they are offering several valuable resources like Niche Packs, which are ready-made niche businesses. They also have a pro membership where NPC provides all resources (even writers) you can outsource all your online business creation job.

Why Website Investments Are Better Than Stock Market Investments

Many do not know but there is a special type of "market" brewing out there where a significant amount of money is changing hand a new "investment" vehicle is rising. What we refer to is web site market. Almost nay web site can be monetized which means its traffic can be converted to cash flow. Website monetization converts existing traffic being sent to a particular website into revenue through methods like Pay per click (PPC) , affiliate marketing, etc.

And when a web site generates cash flow, it becomes an asset. And there are many people out there buying and selling this assets. Just take a look at Flippa.com's Just Sold section (Flippa.com is a market place where web sites are sold and bought): You will see many closed sales with thousands of dollars of cash.

As I was writing this article there was a site on the list named SocialDataExcavation.Com which was sold for $14,500. Why someone pays $50,000 for a site which was just created in April 2013 (domain registration was listed on the sale page)? Because if the revenue claims are true, the site was making $3,150 net income per month. So if there is no fraud here and the same level of income is maintained the buyer will earn $37,800 in the next 12 months which is 260% ROI.

Why Website Investments Are Better Than Stock Market Investments
Although not for everyone, web sites are emerging as cash flow
generating investments as market places like Flippa.com make
it easier to sell and buy them.
Above example is a marginal one indeed. Usually the return is much less than this but still can be very high compared to traditional investment vehicles:

With proper research, due diligence and experience, a website portfolio will return on average between 40-100% of your investment after one year’s time. No stocks will pay this dividend. But what I like most about web site investment is that, you are not a passive financial investor or stake holder but you are an active entity who can do more to improve the ROI for the website. You can actively promote the site, draw more traffic to it, add more content, more SOE, etc.

How to really make money from a web site?

I have come accross this article named Web Site as an online passive income generating investment where the writer explains why  most people do not earn a lot from their blog and what is the basic thing to do to increase your income from your blog or web site.

Earning more money from a blog and web site requires a mindset change according to the article where the editor(s) of the site should look at it as a business/investment rather than a pseudo-hobby where they spend their time with no defined money making process and no investment to it at all other than some time.

When they hear “investment”, many people think financial investment instruments as stocks, bonds or assets like property, gold or silver. Investment means putting your money and time into something with the expectation of gain, usually over a longer term. This “something” can be anything and in this article I will introduce an unknown “investment” which can potentially bring quite a high return on investment.
"In my previous article named How To Make Money Online?, I have mentioned that if you create and manage a web site as a chicken coop you will earn a few eggs per day but if you create and manage a web site as a chicken farm, you will earn a truck load of eggs. Many do not make a lot of money from their web sites because they treat their sites or blogs as chicken coops. They try to do everything on their own with their limited time and they only invest time in the sites, not money. In order a web site to bring significant money (eggs) you need a lot of moderate to high traffic, quality articles (good breed, well maintained chickens) and a lot of traffic. In order to do that, you need to create and maintain a web site as an investment not a hobby."

How to make money online?

If you want to make money online, read on. Here, we will discuss about making money online. But before going into "how" let's talk about why should you make money online?

In his fantastic article named My Advice to Young People in Mises Daily, Robert P. Murphy writes:
When people hear the advice to save more, they typically think that they should stop going out to lunch, and instead bring a bologna sandwich to work or school. Although one obvious way to save more each month is to reduce frivolous expenditures, that's not the main thing I have in mind. If a person really wants to start socking away a lot more each month, the best avenue is to boost his income, not cut spending. Particularly for young people (my target audience), there may not be that much room to cut. However, there's no limit on how much (in principle) someone can earn.
Don't misunderstand me. By all means, if a 22-year-old with no steady income is making huge payments on a sports car and rent in a posh neighborhood, then obviously it would be very prudent to move to a cheaper place and to switch to a boring vehicle with 80,000 miles on it. Yet even after plucking such low-hanging fruit, everybody — especially young people — should start brainstorming about how to bring in more income.
Murphy does not suggest you to go and find a night shift job to bring in more income. He says "rather than looking for other bosses, young people should become their own bosses, at least in a few limited areas." What he suggests is to go and create entrepreneurial ventures.

Now, as I have experienced and suggest here, online entrepreneurial ventures have quite a lot of advantages to traditional entrepreneurial ventures to create multiple stream of incomes. It can start small, you can work on it from your home, most tasks can be automated to an extend that the online money making ventures can behave like "companies" which bring in money even if the boss is not around, etc. But the most important advantage of an online money making venture, in my opinion, is that if you go for a physical venture you need to leave your job and take a lot of risk while the methods we will talk today can be done while you are still working a full-time job.

How to make money online?
There are many ways to make money online: blog shops, e-business sites, selling online or physical products, etc. Here we will just focus one one way to make money online: creating content sites and making money through affiliates or advertisement.

The steps are simple to explain:
  1. You create content sites each is focusing on a specific topic (from broad topics like smartphones to specific topics like Samsung Galaxy S4).
  2. You draw traffic to these sites through search engine optimization and keep them up to date.
  3. The sites bring cash flow through affiliates or advertisements you put in them.
Now each site will not bring in something impressive. Niche sites will bring in something in range of $25 to $250 per month while authority sites will bring $250 to maybe $1000. The trick is creating more than one sites to achieve a meaningful cash flow. I.e. if your average cash flow from the sites is $250 per site per month and you want $5000 per month of cash flow you create 20 sites.

How to make money online?

Now the problem is that Mr. A can create 20 sites and make $5000 per month or more while Mr. B can create 20 sites and spend same amount of time with Mr. A and make $500 per month. The difference comes from many factors. To be successful in this type of online money making business you need to:
  • Select topics on which people spend a significant amount of money on and advertisers are willing to pay something meaningful (for a topic advertisers may pay 5 cents per lead when for others they pay $5 per lead),
  • Create quality articles, free of copy-paste, written in a manner which will bring a lot of traffic to it.
  • Draw a lot of traffic to your site,
  • select money making affiliates to promote,
  • etc. etc.
All these things have a few good ways to do and many garbage ways to do. You need to find a working process which succeeds in all steps and brings you a lot of money. You can either develops a working progress to create sites on your own through years of trial and error or you can simply invest in a working and proven one and adopt it. I suggest to invest in it not because it will save you a lot of time. Investing in a proven method will lead you start making money online very early so you will not join the majority of triers who tries this but gives up because it takes too much time to generate a meaningful income stream.

There are many sites and gurus teaching their "working" methods out there. Some really are working some are plainly garbage. If you want an advice, I can advise Niche Profit Classroom because I have used it and seen it working. I'd say it is worth the investment if you need a well laid out program. They provide good applications like keyword tool, site builder which save a lot of time, tons of training classes, ready made businesses and even resources to whom you can outsource site building work. Subscribing to a program like this will save you a lot of time and in fact may pay you back in a reasonable time.

It all boils down how you treat your online venture. You can treat it as a chicken farm or you can treat it as a chicken coop. If you treat it as a chicken coop you will end up like majority who gets a few eggs a day for all the work they have personally put to keep the coop running. If you treat it as a chicken farm, invest money and time in it and create a working business process for an efficient business flow, it will bring you a lot of money.
