LG G Flex in Singapore

LG's newest smartphone, the curved LG G Flex, is moving further out from South Korea and becoming available in Asian markets soon. And the global roll out of the new G Flex will start from Singapore. LG G Flex will be available in Singapore for pre-order on December 8. This new LG smartphone with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.26GHz and a 6-inch curved OLED full-HD display, will also be sold in Hong Kong on December 13.

LG G Flex price in Singapore will be S$1,088 without a 2-year operator contract.

LG has been selling this banana phone in South Korea since November 2013. The G Flex should be available in other Asian regions before the end of the year. The European launch is rumored to be set for before the end of January 2014.

LG G Flex also has a self-healing back which makes it scratch resistant. Thanks to a molecular substructure that rests on top of the plastic coating and pushes back against the scratches, popping them out, the phone is capable of "healing" minor scratches and scuffs. This process depends on temperature, with the molecules responding faster in warmer environments. The device can't recover from deep scratches.
