Capella Singapore on Sentosa Island Review

Capella Singapore on Sentosa Island is one of the most luxurious resorts in Singapore, an island state which has grown to be a luxurious travel hub. The hotel is on Sentosa Island, the most expensive island to stay in South East Asia.  The hotel is situated in a lush greenery which will make you forget that you are right next to the center of one of the most developed and crowded cities on the planet.

The hotel features 112 spacious guest rooms, suites, manors and villas, many of which overlook the South China Sea or offers views of the city.

In the episode of The Right Room you can watch below, Adam and Kelly from Asia Rooms explore Capella Singapore to see if this resort in Sentosa lives up to its reputation as being one of the most luxurious hotels in Singapore. They stay in Garden View Suite.

Room Review
Wow is the word describing the rooms in Capella Singapore. The view is just awesome. A centralized remote control handles everything from the curtains to lights so you can just control everything in the room without living your ultra comfortable bed. A large couch in front of floor-to-ceiling window and a comfortable and functional business desk both have a fantastic Singapore skyline view. The beds are quite large. The single beds are larger than super single which is very good for tall and big fellas.

A large TV whose angel can be adjusted, iPhone dock, sound system with speakers all around the room and an expensive coffee machine are some of the modern amenities you can find in the Garden View Suite of Capella Singapore on Sentosa Island. There is free WI-FI access in the room.

The large and modern bathroom with double sinks (so you do not need to wait in the queue in the morning), a massive wardrobe, rain shower and a bath tub with magnificent view offers ultimate luxury.

Sentosa Island

Designed for fun, there are many things to do on Sentosa Island, where Capella Singapore is located. One of Singapore’s two integrated resorts (casino covered with dining, entertainment and activities), Resorts World Sentosa, is nearby which offers a large aquarium, casino, Universal Studios Singapore and a large water park. Other than that there are many activities on the beaches where you can swim and many dining options.
For those who are into shopping, Singapore’s largest shopping mall, VivoCity, is just a mono-rail ride away on the shores of main Singapore island right other side of Sentosa.

Facilities
The pool in Capella Singapore is just awesome place to end a tiring tropic day and it is highly suggested to be there to catch the sunset. A large conference room, a luxurious SPA (Auriga at Capella Singapore SPA), fitness center, restaurants (Chinese cuisine at Cassia, a leisurely meal at The Knolls, an all-day Mediterranean restaurant or unwind after a long day at Bob’s Bar where guests while overlooking Singapore’s breathtaking sunset) and a library is there for you to enjoy your stay.

Duangjitt Resort & Spa Hotel Review

In this episode of The Right Room, Adam and Kelly are in Phuket, Thailand to see if Duangjitt Resort & Spa has the right room for sun, sand and sea lovers.

Situated right next to the beautiful white sands of Patong Beach, this sprawling 36-acre, 500-room tropical paradise is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens with lovely shady coconut palm trees and a location that's just minutes to the beach and the best of what Patong has to offer. The hotel offers a choice of accommodations, consisting of 175 Building Superior Rooms, 56 Bungalow Superior Rooms, 60 Deluxe Rooms, 32 Grand Deluxe Rooms, 4 One Bedroom Suites, 11 Duplex Rooms and 2 Duangjitt Suite Rooms.

The resort stands out with its beautiful garden, huge swimming pool and good location. But what about the rest? Adam and Kelly review the Deluxe Pool View room and try out some watersport action at the beach, before checking out the happening nightlife of Patong City!

The Deluxe Pool View room comes with a large bathroom equipped with rain shower, a large bath tub and 2 sinks. The room has something which you do not usually get in a hotel room: an elevated and soft space in the corner where you can lie down and relax on Thai style cushions. One word to define the room is "practical". From the design all the way out to the layout. The resort also has everything a Phuket resort should offer to its guests. The most appealing adventage of the resort is its location: only five minutes away from Patong Beach and less than ten minutes away from the main shopping street.

Below is the video review of the Duangjitt Resort & Spa Resort by AsiaRooms.com.

Room Review

The Family Suite in Swiss Garden Hotel & Residences is spacious and comes with 2 bedrooms. The first thing strikes you when you enter the room is the dining table. The room offers a large space for the kids to run around.

The larger bedroom comes with a large twin bed, descent wardrobe space and a sunken bathroom attached to the room with rain shower. The bed is clean, soft and really comfortable.

One of the main reasons you rent a Family Suite is its kitchen where you can do a little bit of cooking. The kitchen comes with a large fridge and all the space and utensils for you to cook in the suite.

The living space comes with an LCD TV, a large couch facing it and an iPhone doc which can be used as music player while it is charging your phone. The WiFi in the residences is free so you can enjoy internet while resting in your suite.

Things to Do
Swiss Garden Hotel & Residences provides a free shuttle service to China Town, KLCC and Bukit Bintang. Kuala Lumpur is a heaven for shopaholics of all kinds. Kuala Lumpur alone has 66 shopping malls and it is the retail and fashion hub for Malaysia.

Suria KLCC is one of Malaysia's premier shopping destinations due to its location beneath the Petronas Twin Towers. The Bukit Bintang area in the Golden Triangle is Kuala Lumpur's premier shopping district. It is like Tokyo's Ginza, New York's Fifth Avenue and Singapore's Orchard Road. The area has the highest concentration of shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur and a must visit for all travellers to KL.

KL's symbol, the Petronas Twin Towers, rises above almost everything in KL and is the must see attraction in the city.
