It seems like the public attention on Alvin Tan Jye Yee and Vivian Lee is no where to go and in fact increasing every other day. And the couple has no problem feeding their fame by constant interviews, Facebook updates and YoutTube videos. Alvin Tan, the male half of Alvin Tan Jye Yee and Vivian Lee duo, who had made their sex life public last week and drew tremendous attention both in Singapore and Malaysia has lashed out at critics and Singapore media on Facebook. His messages in his Facebook account range from self-help book quotes to full throttle strike back to critics. For example for those who say we teach children the wrong things he writes:
"The world is bad and evil, and it is your job as parents to shield them and educate them about things like this. Ultimately, we do not owe more than an ounce of responsibility towards the young individuals whom you bring to this world". (In fact, he has a point here, since internet is full of much worse material than a dude and his girlfriend sharing their bed times with public. Plus, media in this part of the world is feeding the attention to the couple with one news article after another which naturally is drawing young ones to the material they have generated.)
It seems like public just cannot get more of them and the media attention on them is increasing by every passing day. According to Alvin Tan, a Singaporean media outlet was in talk with him to film an episode of a documentary depicting real-life social events.
The couple seems to enjoy the fame to the fullest. Alvin Tan Jye Yee and Vivian Lee are frequently revealing fan messages and replying critics and last week, they have co-released a video on YouTube (Latest Update from Alvin and Vivian - 17 October 2012) in which they have cheerfully answered some of the questions and fan mails(!).
