For the past 5 years, annual Vivid Sydney Light, Music & Idea Festival transforms Sydney into a spectacular canvas of light, music and ideas and wows crowds with famous Sydney landmarks wrapped in thousands of meters of lights or used as massive canvasses, presenting giant expanses of rippling, morphing illuminated designs or photos. This year the festival will take place between this year from May 24 and June 10 2013. There will be 60 installations such as the illumination of the iconic Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Previous years have proven to be very popular so Vivid Sydney Light, Music & Idea Festival 2013 will be expanded to include Darling Harbour where attendees can view a dazzling display of dancing water fountains, exciting music and water screen projections by France’s celebrated Aquatique Show International. There are also plenty of family activities and performances from a variety of disciplines, and even be a presentation by German musical icons Kraftwerk! Also first time in 2013, the Sydney Harbour Bridge will be the centrepiece of a new interactive light installation, extending the Vivid Light Walk across the harbour and into North Sydney!
