Sarah Song praises fitness of Louis Cheung and Shawn Yue tells Jason Chan to learn from them

Hong Kong actress beauty queen Sarah Song (宋熙年) and  British-born Hong Kong actor and television presenter Jason Chan (陳智燊) were recently in an event and they were complaining that they had gained weight because of their busy and unpredictable work schedules and cold weather.

Jason Chan revealed that Sarah praises Louis Cheung's (張繼聰) and Hong Kong actor and singer Shawn Yue's (余文樂)  fit bodies and keeps telling him to learn from them.

Since 2009, 39 years old Jason Chan is rumored to be dating 2007 Miss Chinese International winner Sarah Song, who lives at different towers within the same residential complex. 10 August 2014, Sarah had posted a photo of herself and Jason Chan. The two were on a dinner together as a celebration of Sarah Song's 29th birthday. In the photo, the sweet couple were smiling happily as the former Miss China International contestant wraps her hand across the Jason's shoulders.

Sarah Song captioned her photo, saying, "Thank you for another birthday. More wonderful birthdays ahead...but hopefully not wrinkles." This post was then regarded by the public as her confirmation that she is in fact in a relationship with Jason Chan.

Where to stay in Hong Kong?

Hong Kong is a popular tourist destination where East truly blends with West. With its impressive skyline, fantastic Cantonese cuisine, world class night life and shopping experience, Hong Kong offers something to every taste and budget. Hong Kong draws people from all around to travel, live and work in the city and fully deserves its nickname : Asia’s World City.

Hong Kong has been under British rule for 150 years until 1997. Although it is now a part of China, its political system, economy and social life resembles more West then China.

Although people think an ultra crowded city where futuristic skyscraper littered skyline meets neon sign filled narrow streets when they hear about Hong Kong, most of Hong Kong is rural. The area takes its name from Hong Kong Island which is not the largest part of Hong Kong but is the main interest area for visitors. Central Hong Kong is on the North West part of Hong Kong Island but majority lives on mainland in the northern area.

So, Where to stay in Hong Kong? For most tourists, Hong Kong means the north of Hong Kong Island and the south of Kowloon. Hong Kong Island is the cleanest part of Hong Kong and is also the most expensive. Impressive finance and business center of Hong Kong is here. Most high class shopping, night life and neighborhoods are also here.

Kowloon is one of the most population dense area on the planet. As you travel from south to north (towards New Territories), the city gets dirtier and worn-out. Still, it offers infinite food, shopping and culture shock opportunities as you travel inland.

When choosing accommodation in Hong Kong you need to know several things : Hong Kong is very safe (almost as safe as Singapore and Tokyo). It also has an excellent public transportation network which allows you to arrive any important place in the city easily. And Hong Kong hotels are very expensive. So based on your budget, you can get away from central Hong Kong to save money without sacrificing so much safety and convenience. Choose hotels near major subway stations or bus routes.

Hong Kong map and major districts of Hong Kong. For many visitors, Hong Kong means the north of Hong Kong Island, and the south of Kowloon. You can find almost all Hong Kong tourist attractions in this central places. Map of Hong Kong is from Wikitravel Hong Kong Travel Guide.
Central Hong Kong

Central area is the north west of Hong Kong Island and is the place which comes to mind when you think Hong Kong. This is the main tourist attraction full of skyscrapers and shopping centers. Lan Kwai Fong (蘭桂坊) near Central MRT Station is one of the most popular night life center in Hong Kong. Soho (荷南美食區) is an area between Hollywood Road and Bonham Road-Caine Road and is a very famous entertainment district full of bars, night clubs, shops and art galleries. From here if you go to IFC Shopping Mall, you will see the escalators going uphill. Before Victoria Peak, you will find The Mid-Levels (半山區) and a little below it Sheung Wan (上環) with its colonial era buildings and shops.

Victoria Peak (太平山) is the most upper class area in Hong Kong. The view overlooking central and Victoria Harbour (see below) makes it a must visit place for every tourist to Hong Kong.

Central Hong Kong is the best place to stay in Hong Kong if you can afford it. If you plan to stay here, it saves a lot to check online room prices and find the best deals. For hotels in this area you can check Hong Kong Central Hotels pages.

Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre are here. The area to the west of Lockhart Road is one of the largest bar strips of Hong Kong. Once the area was exclusively Hong Kong’s Red Light District but now offers much extended range of entertainment. But you can still see “working women” from Thailand and Philippines in the area.

The tallest building in Hong Kong, Central Plaza, is also in Wan Chai. There are many shops and restaurants in the area for all budgets and tastes. It is a popular place to stay with its proximity to central Hong Kong. For hotels here visit Hong Kong Wan Chai Hotels pages.

Causeway Bay

Further east, you will find one of the most popular shopping areas in Hong Kong, Causeway Bay. Popular department stores of Seibu and Sogo are here with gigantic Times Square Shopping Mall. Jordan & Mong Kok

If you are more adventurous from a typical tourist, head deep into Kowloon to see how actual Hong Kong residents live. Jordan is a microcosm of working class Hong Kong and offers countless shops, restaurants, hotels and residential buildings with authentic Far East city life. Jordon is also a place where you can find nice and cheap Hong Kong hotels. Fro here, it is still very easy to access Tsim Sha Tsui and Hong Kong Island. This makes Jordon one of the best places to stay in Hong Kong for budget conscious travellers.

Mong Kok has 130,000 people per square kilometer and is a tourist attraction in itself for those eager to experience the most populous area on the planet. Outside tourist regions, Mong Kok offers traditional shops and restaurants. The neon Chinese sign forests of the streets here are must visit.

B P International Hong Kong Hotel

I am in Hong Kong for a business trip and this time my company booked a room in B P International Hong Kong Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. The hotel has an excellent location which is right next to Kowloon Park (a large public park in Tsim Sha Tsui Kowloon Peninsula). It is 3 minutes walk from Jordan MTR Station and there are a lot of amenities around like a Seven-Eleven with opportunities for cheaper breakfast if you have not bought a room with breakfast. I will not be able to comment on the breakfast of the hotel because the dude in my company did not buy it!

The hotel and the rooms are clean. As in many hotels in Hong Kong, the rooms are small and the furniture are a little old. Hotels self-service laundry at 13th floor is quite handy where you can wash, dry and iron your clothes. The

One problem with the hotel is its size. The hotel is huge. And there are a lot of guests. This makes it quite crowded in every facility, Lifts are usually packed and full and occasionally you need to wait for the next lift because the one arriving is full. The hotel is also tall so try to choose a higher floor room looking towards the park because the view is quite good.

The event I am attending is in a quite high end hotel, The Mira Hong Kong. B P International Hong Kong Hotel is 5 minutes walk from this hotel and is much cheaper to stay in.

I am still staying one more day and I will update the post after I leave the hotel. It seems like a good choice if you are looking for relatively budget, central Hong Kong hotel near an MTR Station.

Lan Kwai Fong 3

The 3rd installment of sexy Lan Kwai Fong film series, Lan Kwai Fong 3 (喜愛夜蒲3), is in theaters now. Set amid Hong Kong’s most vibrant nightlife hub, Lan Kwai Fong is about partying, boozing and promiscuous lifestyle and thanks to its actresses generous display of their assets has been quite a hype in Asia.

All 3 Lan Kwai Fong movies have relatively unknown cast and low budget. The first movie, Lan Kwai Fong (2011) just costed 750,000 USD to produce but generated twice that in just a month only in Hong Kong screening.

Set in Hong Kong’s nightclub and bar district, Lan Kwai Fong, the film follows three couples as they act out their desires. Jason Chan (陳柏宇), Whitney Hui (許亦妮), Jeana Ho (何佩瑜), Alex Lam (林德信), Ava Yu (雨僑) star and Celia Kwok (郭穎兒). Michael Tse (謝天華), Christine Ng (伍詠薇), Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀), and Ronan Pak (白健恩) make cameo appearances.[1]

You can watch Lan Kwai Fong 3 trailer here. Do not get so exited about the lingerie and French kiss scenes of Whitney Hui in the trailer. Whitney is managed under TVB, who fiercely protects the images of its artists, and there are very limited number of explicit appearences of the starlet in the movie.

Dada Chen, big boob Hong Kong starlet, was supposed to have a lead role in Lan Kwai Fong 3 but she has quitted showbiz before the cameras rolled for the movie (Dada Chan had a lead role in the first movie). The replacement was 2011 Miss Hong Kong second-runner up Whitney Hui, who boasts an impressive 35D bustline (seems like a must to take a lead role in a Hong Kong erotic movie) took on Chen’s role.

With this installment, director of all 3 movies, Wilson Chin (錢國偉) released a new installment each year.

Sire Ma (馬賽) lesbian relationship news

We have written before about Sire Ma's (馬賽) lesbian relationship with mainland Chinese film producer Wang Ziqi (汪子琦). The couple was seen kissing on the streets of Shanghai. As if a woman cannot have lesbian relationship, Hong Kong media such as Popularasians.com continues to call the relationship as Sire Ma (馬賽) lesbian scandal. Scandal is a stupid name given to this incident by close-minded people. Scandal is maybe something like cheating, getting caught nude or leak video in "action". A relationship is not a scandal even it is a homosexual one. I wish Hong Kong media some way to bring their mind to 2013, a year many countries have started to accept and legalized homosexual marriages yet alone accepting a homosexual relationship.

According to Popularasians.com,  Sire Ma's career is at risk as TVB asked her to take two months rest and vendors dropped her from promotional events. Also Wang Ziqi’s ex-girlfriend, Laura Lee, claims Sire stole her lover:

American-Chinese entrepreneur Laura Lee, Wang Ziqi’s business partner, claims to date her fot one year before Sire Ma started to date her:

“Sire Ma lied to me. She told me she was going to Chongqing to visit her mother. When I returned to Shanghai, I discovered that Wang Ziqi changed all of her passwords in her phone. She constantly received WeChat messages, and they were all from Sire Ma.”

Laura confronted the pair in a coffee shop in Hong Kong. Sire admitted that she has been dating Ziqi since September. “She also told me that Wang Ziqi was happier with her and demanded me to back out. She said Wang Ziqi didn’t love me and being together would be useless. I was beyond embarrassed.”

Cecilia Cheung seen in Singapore

Hong Kong actress and cantopop singer Cecilia Cheung Pak-Chi (張柏芝) recently visited Singapore and filled the nets with many comments/gossips after her photos with hunks, some proudly topless. started to circulate. In one of the photos Cecilia Cheung was seen posing intimately with a Caucasian man in a local restaurant. More photos of Cecilia’s trip appeared lately showing the actress exhibiting her volumptuous figure in a red bikini.

A Singaporean hunk known as Hero Zhang Jin Tao also posed with her and uploaded pictures of him with Cecilia suggesting that the well-built Singaporean man played host to the actress during her visit, bringing her to restaurants and doing water sports activities together. On his blog, he referred to Cecilia as a “goddess” and openly expressed his admiration for the actress.

Rumour has it that Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung was not in Singapore for vacation but was planning to follow the footsteps of Francis Ng and send her boys to school in Singapore:

Bandao website reported that the actress, who was in Canada just a while ago, was recently spotted vacationing in Singapore with her two children, Lucas and Quintus, and was seen taking the boys to a gaming arcade.

However, sources believed that the actress' trip to Singapore was not only meant to be a holiday getaway, but also to scout for good schools, as she also previously mentioned in an interview that she intends to find Lucas and Quintus a good education environment.

Meanwhile she was criticized about her parenting style:

Negative gossip follows Cecilia Cheung (張柏芝) wherever she steps foot. In a recent Singapore vacation, Cecilia was accused of flirting with various men while on a wake-boarding trip. Cecilia appeared in a bikini while surrounded by topless, muscular men. Accompanying Cecilia were her two sons, 6-year-old Lucas (謝振軒) and 3-year-old Quintus (謝振南), who were once again pulled out of school to take their vacations.

Netizens shared photos of Cecilia and her sons as they were spotted at various locations in Singapore, including at an amusement arcade. While Cecilia may have intended to take her sons on a fun trip, her parenting style is once again being criticized as being irresponsible in making the boys skip school for leisure activities.

Although no dates were found on the travel photos, it was reported that the principal of Lucas’ school has already issued a last warning letter to get him back to school. Even father Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋) has claimed that he is looking into the matter.

Cheung was married to Nicholas Tse until between 2008 and 2011 and has 2 sons with him.

Hong Kong Disneyland Iron Man Theme Area will open in 2016

Hong Kong Disneyland (香港迪士尼樂園) announced a new themed area based on Iron Man, which will take guests on an epic adventure of a lifetime as they join Tony Stark in a battle against alien invaders across the city of Hong Kong.

“Since Marvel became part of the Disney family, our Imagineers have been dreaming up new ways for our guests to experience their favorite Marvel characters and stories,” said Tom Staggs, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. “We’re thrilled to bring this first Marvel attraction featuring Iron Man to Hong Kong Disneyland."

As the story unfolds, Tony Stark – also known as Iron Man – has brought his Stark Expo to Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland where guests have the opportunity to see firsthand the progression of Tony’s Iron Man suits and many other Stark innovations. The anchor of the attraction is the Iron Man Experience itself, where guests will be able to take flight with Iron Man on an epic adventure that not surprisingly pits Iron Man, along with guests, against the forces of evil.

Even more, this first-of-its kind, E-ticket attraction will include a storyline that takes place in the streets and skies of Hong Kong.

Set to open in late 2016, the experience will also include an area where guests can meet and take photos with Iron Man, as well as a Marvel merchandise location.

“Combined with Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Point, this new themed area underscores commitment to and confidence in the continued growth of Hong Kong Disneyland,” Staggs said.

In the past two years, these new areas have increased the size of the park by about 25 percent, bringing the number of attractions and entertainment offerings at Hong Kong Disneyland to more than 100.

“The new Marvel-themed area will give guests visiting Hong Kong Disneyland even more reasons to visit,” said Andrew Kam, Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland. “We are pleased to see the momentum of growth continue at Hong Kong Disneyland benefitting both our resort and the entire Hong Kong tourism industry.”

Iron Man is one of some 5,000-plus characters that are part of the Marvel universe. Over the last 70 years, Marvel has continued to be one of the most prominent character-based entertainment brands. The Walt Disney Company purchased Marvel Entertainment in 2009.

Angelina Zhang leaked nude photos

Hong Kong actress Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Nga - 張暖雅) has never been shy of displaying what she has. Her popularity is largely thanks to 2 18 years of age ++ movies Lan Kwai Fong and Due West Our Sex Journey where her male audience has seen as much as they could.

Now, 17 nude photos of Angelina Zhang, obviously taken before she has "enhanced" her look are circulating online and went viral in Chinese speaking work. The actress was suprised to know that the photos are online but acknowledged that the lady in the photos are her.

The photo series was taken 4 years ago in 2009 and taken by a photographer for artistic purposes. According to Angelina only her former manager and the photographer had the photos, but she thinks the photographer probably didn't keep those photos. Given that she and her former management company had problems (she has only made 400K for the company instead of the millions she claimed) she has implied tht her former managers were behind the leak.

Angelina's former management company was quick to deny the allegations.

Angelina Zhang later broke the silence and filed a report to the police after her pictures surfaced online. She described the people who spread her naked photos as 'worse than wild animals' and she also swore that no man was involved in taking her nude photos.

According to AppleDailyEnglish, Angelina Zhang's pictures are allegedly exposed to stir up buzz:
It was not clear whether someone exposed her pictures to harm her reputation or she did this herself to garner more attention.
The actress said these pictures were once handed to her previous agent two years ago upon signing a contract. Yet, her previous agent denied being the one to expose the pictures and said that he had nothing to do with it. Zhang's manager ended up accusing the actress of taking jobs in private without going through him.
Zhang denied that she was the one sending out these pictures to promote herself and stated that revealing these pictures could only harm her relationships with her clients.
The actress and her director husband said that they would call the police when they return to Hong Kong and call a press conference to explain everything.

Angelina Zhang was reportedly secretly married to a Hong Kong director Hu Yaohui (胡耀輝), who directed the x-rated film "Due West: Our Sex Journey" where Zhang was also part of the cast.

Johnnie Walker Bruce Lee Advertisement

It has been 40 years since legendary Chinese American martial artist and filmmaker Bruce Lee took Equagesic (a painkiller) and went to take his eternal sleep. Expert said he has died from an allergic reaction to the muscle relaxant (meprobamate) in Equagesic, some said he had a delayed reaction to a Dim Mak strike he received several weeks prior to his collapse. Whatever the reason, as Linda Lee's voice over in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story says, it is better to discuss the Dragons's life instead of his death.

And The Dragon (Lee was born in both the hour and the year of the Dragon) still lives on. So it would not be suprising to see "him" looking over Hong Kong's impressive 21st century skyline in a recent advertisement. But still it gave my spine chills to watch Bruce Lee in the new advertisement for Johnnie Walker.

Watch Johnnie Walker Bruce Lee Advertisement for yourself below. If you do not (somehow) know Lee you would probably not realize that the "actor" is in fact an impressive 3D CGI work. The video is a promotional work created with the sponsorship of Johnnie Walker for its Blue Label product. The CGI work is done by visual FX company The Mill in 9 months. Details are impressive. To catch the life like charm and soul of Bruce Lee, the director has consulted Bruce Lee's daughter Shannon Lee.

I think Shannon Lee forgot to tell these guys that Bruce Lee has never drank alcohol during his 32 years of life. For this reason, the video got some criticism on using The Dragon in a whiskey advertisement but the director Joseph Kahn explains:

"This spot isn't about drinking, nor does Bruce Lee ever pitch, hold, talk about it. It's a short inspirational film sponsored by Johnnie Walker. Those making comparisons of "water" to "alcohol" are literalists & wrong. Last thing alcohol wants to be is water. It's a metaphor for life. It's his metaphor in his actual words. I spent a year living and breathing this man, thinking about him every day. For me, it's not an ad. It's an exploration & celebration of him. This is a sculpture in a different medium, paid for by a different church. I stand behind it."

This is a very well crafted sculpture.

Banned Hong Kong sex movie accidentally projected to hundreds by Chinese worker

Rule number one : Never use your work laptop to watch X rated movies (or surf X rated web sites). You cannot know when the remains of these movies will pop-up in your screen. A presentation would be already very embarrassing but take a look at this maintenance worker's case in China: He started watching a banned porn film, not realizing his computer was connected to a giant screen!

According to Chinese state Xinhua news agency, the worker was supposed to repair the screen, on a building near the main railway station in Jilin in northeast China. But he began playing "The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks" and made hundreds of local residents watching it too.

The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks (Chinese 金瓶梅 or Jin Ping Mei) is a Hong Kong movie released in 2008 and directed by Man Kei Chin. Based on the classic Chinese novel "Jin Ping Mei" written during the Ming Dynasty, the movie takes place during 1111-1127 and centers around Ximen Quing, a corrupt social climber and lustful merchant who is wealthy enough to marry a consort of wives and concubines. Also featuring several Japanese adult video actresses making their feature film debuts such as Kaera Uehara and Hikaru Wakana, the movie was followed by a sequel in 2009 named The Forbidden Legend: Sex & Chopsticks II.

In this case, he may not only get away with loosing his job. Police were investigating the incident and according to Chinese law, individuals who spread pornographic audiovisual products can be sentenced to up to two years in prison.

Aimee Chan Pregnant?

Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) made a surprising announcement through Weibo this month that she and Moses Chan (陳豪) are married in a secret wedding in Paris. The wedding was witnessed by family and several friends at the 800 year-old Chateau de Vincennes in Paris, France (the five-day, four-night celebration had a reported cost of $3 million HKD).

After France, Moses Chan returned to Hong Kong while Aimee flew to Canada to stay with her parents. In the airport reporters asked him about Aimee Chan pregnant rumours. Moses Chan neither confirms nor denies the rumours:

Asked if Aimee is resting in Toronto due to her pregnancy, Moses laughed nervously. “I’m very happy, but I cannot talk about the other [news] yet. Ssshhh!” Prompted that he can take a honeymoon with the family of three, Moses laughed, “That’s not a honeymoon! A honeymoon should be between mommy and daddy. Many happy things happened all at once this year. Heaven has been very good to me; I’m very grateful.” Moses declined to reveal where they will go for their honeymoon.

Moses Chan Ho  is an actor from Hong Kong and Aimee Chan Yan Mei is a Canadian actressbased in Hong Kong as a TVB actress. She was Miss Hong Kong 2006.

According to Popular Asians, Aimee also does not deny pregnancy:
However, she still could not escape the chase of reporters and was photographed at the London airport with a visible baby bump under her sweater. Even though she was stopped by the paparazzi, she sported a smile and accepted a brief interview while kindly requested they stop taking photos due to lack of makeup.
