Norwegian Air budget flights from London to Singapore

Norwegian Air, Norwegian low-cost airline which is the third largest low-cost carrier in Europe, has launched the world's longest budget flight route from London to Singapore, which will cost £149.90 one-way (273.84 Singapore Dollars). The budget Singapore flight will be a non-stop flight between Gatwick Airport which is 47.5 km south of Central London to Singapore Changi Airport and will take 12 hours and 45 minutes.

The route was announced in April 2017 and is operating since September 28th 2017. The flight departs 10.30 a.m. from London and lands in Singapore at 6.15 a.m Singapore time.

You may think that it would be a torture to take almost 13 hours budget flight. But the London - Singapore budget flight is operated by a brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. All seats on the Dreamliner have personal 11-inch seat-back screens and USB ports.

The London - Singapore budget flight also offers premium seats at a price tag of £699.90 (1278.59 Singapore Dollars) one way. This has a "spacious cradle seating" with more than a metre of legroom, and free lounge access at Gatwick Airport.

Cheap Flights to Singapore from Taiwan by Tigerair Taiwan

If you are looking for cheap flights from Taiwan to Singapore or Singapore to Taiwan, new budget carrier Tigerair Taiwan (台灣虎航), will add one more alternative to the existing flights in late September. The low-cost carrier, which is a joint venture between Taiwan’s China Airlines (CAL, 中華航空) and Singapore’s Tigerair, will offer daily round-trip flights between Taiwan and Singapore. In a Facebook post, Tigerair said it will take delivery of its first aircraft around early September in preparation for the launch of its daily round-trip flight to Singapore later in the month.

Currently, Tiger Airways, Jetstar and Scoot are offering cheap flights on the route between Singapore and Taiwan. Full cost carriers like Singapore Airlines, CAL and EVA Airways (長榮航空) also offers flights between these two island nations.

Taiwan is a popular holiday destination for Singaporeans and Singapore is one of the most developed aviation hub in Asia. With flights to Singapore, passangers from Taiwan will have access to the large budget network of Tigerair as well as global network of big carriers like Singapore Airlines.

Tigerair Taiwan will be Taiwan's first low-cost airline. The joint venture will release more information next week about its flights and had said earlier that it was also considering destinations such as Macau, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea in its initial flight network.

Singapore based budget carrier Tigerair will start budget flights to Ningbo from Singapore and become the only airline flying directly from Singapore to Ningbo. With the addition of Singapore - Ningbo flights, Tigerair will be flying to 8 destinations in Greater China from Singapore.

Ningbo (宁波)  is one of China's oldest cities, with a history dating back to 4800 BC.  The city is located in the northeast of Zhejiang province and is an especially popular destination among business and leisure travelers alike, thanks to its bustling port and excellent connectivity to regional Chinese cities. Reputed as a commercial seaport city dating back to Tang and Song dynasties, Ningbo has established itself as a key exporter of electrical products, industrial tools, textiles, and food. Today, Ningbo ranks second only to Shanghai in terms of the amount of cargo handled, with exports totaling nearly US$ 40 billion annually.

Ningbo has a modern and extensive infrastructure and provides easy access to other major cities in the region such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wenzhou and Nanjing. What is Jetstar Straight To Gate?
