Singapore beauties got wet for a good cause

In their flip-flops, shorts and tank tops 16 finalists of the Miss Singapore Beauty Pageant 2013 spent more than three hours washing luxury cars. No. this was not a photo shoot, it was actually a charity event for Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf).

There were of course many picture taking and the media was also there. They scrubbed until the cars at SADeaf were spotless. The girls spent more than three hours washing luxury cars and helped to raising just over $3,000 for SADeaf. It cost $20 to wash a car but drivers were encouraged to give more. You may have missed the event but if you want to donate money to the SADeaf, you can use their e-donation page here.

A week ago, the contestants of Miss Singapore Beauty Pageant 2013 took part take part in a flash mob in Orchard Road led by reigning queens, Miss Valentane Huang (Miss United Nations International 2012/13), Miss Rocher Ang (Miss Singapore Chinese World 2012) and Miss Florence Lim (Miss Singapore Global Beauty Queen 2012). The girls grooved to famous tunes from KPOP singers such as 4 minute, f(x), Big Bang and PSY outside Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City and Mandarin Gallery.

Below is the charity car wash events video.
