Buzzfeed also said that the pictures were retrieved due to an iCloud leak that allowed celebrities’ phones to be hacked, and were posted on 4chan in an attempt to earn bitcoins. Some hackers requests donations to paypal for more explicit photos and videos of the actresses.
The 4chan user also released two screenshots of his desktop which are full of videos of Jennifer Lawrence. These photos and videos are not released yet.
The 4chan user also claimed to have released nude photos of several female celebrities in a major hacking. The hacker said that he or she leaked photos of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, and a host of other stars.
Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Ariana Grande and Kirsten Dunst are some of the stars whose nude photos are leaked according to the media. "To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves." wrote Mary Elizabeth Winstead, another actress exposed in the leak, in Twitter. She also wrote "Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked."
Victoria Justice on the other hand was in denial. "These so called nude photos of me are FAKE people" she wrote on twitter.
