The Singapore River extending almost 3 kilometers from its source at Kim Seng Bridge (river beyond that bridge is Alexandra Canal and the original source is at Kim Seng Bridge) to its mouth at the Esplanade, houses some of the most prime areas in Singapore to entertain, dine and stay. Boat Quay and Clarke Quay are the most famous and visited areas on the riverside in Singapore. But go a little deep to its source, you will find yourself in the most laid-back of the three quays along the Singapore River, Robertson Quay.
