AirAsia Hi-Flyer is a service which offers travelers travel flexibility and several benefits for both AirAsia and AirAsia X. These benefits include 20 kg checked baggage allowance, standard or hot seat selection, express boarding, 2 flight changes up to 2 hours before scheduled departure time of the original flight with no flight change fee (fare difference may apply).
Hi-Flyer service is very good for business travelers who are increasingly using budget airliners in South East Asia destinations. Business travelers make up a significant portion of AirAsia guests' profile and this new product offering will further add value to their travel experience with AirAsia.
I am one of those business travelers and usually the meeting times and days changes with short notice and flexibility of changing flights without charges will be great. With Hi-Flyers if a meeting ends early and I want to change to an earlier flight, I can just turn up at the airport and proceed to a selected Airport Sales Counter at least 3 hours and 4 hours before the schedule time of departure for AirAsia and AirAsia X flight respectively.

Hi-Flyer is also available on all FLY-THRU routes but again except South Korea, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Hong Kong, Philippines and Japan.
Travellers who have booked regular promo fares can easily upgrade to 'Hi-Flyer' fares by logging onto airasia.com and modify their flights through the 'Manage My Booking' option.
