Samsung Galaxy S4 release date in Singapore is April 27.

Samsung Galaxy S4 release date in Singapore is on April 27. The price of Galaxy S4 will be S$998 without contract according to Samsung. Samsung was rumored to launch the new smartphone in Singapore in May but they have finally came up with an earlier date. Samsung has announced the release date and price of Galaxy S4 during the launch event for the Samsung Fashion Steps Out 2013.

Samsung Galaxy S4 will probably sell very well. All 3 telcos in Singapore, M1, SingTel and StarHub started to collect the registration of interest for the Samsung GALAXY S4 With LTE on 17 April 2013. And already M1 registration is closed "due to overwhelming response". As of now, SingTel and StarHub registrations are still open.

All 3 telcos also announced their Samsung Galaxy S4 price plans.

Registration of interest pages for SingTel is https://www.singtelshop.com/GalaxyS4/ and StarHub is http://phones.starhub.com/galaxys4/. Registration of interest does not guarantee to get a phone but if you get one, it willcome with Limited Edition Accessory Pack worth $160.

Samsung Galaxy S4 will be launched in Singapore with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. Galaxy S4 outside of the US was expected to come with the new Exynos 5 Octa Core mobile processor. While in Singapore we will only be able to purchase the GT-I9505 model with Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.9GHz, other countries in the region, such as Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, India are likely to get the Exynos 5 Octa model (the GT-I9500) :(

Registration of interest has already started.
Probably LTE is to get the blame that Singapore is not getting the international version as Exynos 5 do not support LTE at the moment and the LTE enabled Exynos 5 chip will be limited to South Korea first.

Samsung Galaxy S4 release date in Malaysia is not announced yet but pre-orders will be open on April 20.
