Prince William and Kate Middleton in Singapore on September 11th


Britain's Prince William and his wife Catherine Middleton will be in Singapore as their first stop of South Asia and Pacific Tour from Sept 11 to Sept 13 2012. Willian and Kate, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are touring Singapore, Malaysia, The Solomon Islands and Tuvalu as representatives of Queen Elizabeth II, to commemorate the British monarch's Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

Kate and William will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and President Tony Tan Keng Yam at the Istana on their first evening and then President Tan will then host them to a state dinner there, where Prince William will give a speech.[1]

Can public see Kate and William during their visit in Singapore? Sure they will be able to do that. Kate and William will visit Gardens By The Bay on their second day in Singapore. The royal couple will also visit a Housing Board estate, Strathmore Green in Queenstown, where they will watch short cultural performances. During these visits, you can catch a view of Kate and William if you are interested to do that.

Kate and William will also visit Singapore's Botanical Gardens, where husband and wife will have orchids named after them. According to Hello!, this will be an emotional visit for Prince William because he will see a white orchid named after his mother Diana, Princess of Wales for the first time.[2]

Kate Middleton and Prince William, aka the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are excitedly getting ready to kick off their overseas Diamond Jubilee tour on behalf of the Queen. 
The Royal couple, who are extremely close to HRH, are set to jet off on the 11-day trip to Malaysia, Singapore, Tuvalu and the Solomon Islands tomorrow, on a jam-packed tour which will see them do everything from hosting a tea party and enjoying a palace banquet, to trekking through the jungle.

After Singapore, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur and Borneo's Sabah state from Sept 13 to 15. Their next stop will be Pacific Island of Solomon, a former British protectorate north-east of Australia, between Sept 16 to 18 and finally Tuvalu from Sept 18 to 19.[3]


According to People, a mini second honeymoon awaits William and Kate during their upcoming tour of Southeast Asia when they briefly spend a luxurious night in a remote private island named Tavanipupu on the Solomon Islands.
