Good news for gamers in Singapore. They won't have to wait long for Sony PlayStation 4. Sony Playstation 4 (PS4) will be in Singapore 19 December 2013 according to Sony. The basic Sony PS4 set will be sold for S$639 (US$498) while PS4 with camera is priced as S$689 (US$552). According to the announcement, Bundles that include the camera or games -- with Battlefield 4 (S$709) or Killzone Shadow Fall (S$699) -- will also be available at launch.
Ps4 Singapore basic sets are set around USD 100 more than Taiwan and Hong Kong prices which are more inline with USA prices. Sony PS4 basic set will be retailed for HK$3,380 (US$436) in Hong Kong and NT$12,980 (US$440) in Taiwan.
In Singapore, Playstation Vita TV will retail at S$149, PlayStation Camera will be sold for S$87.90 and Dualshock 4 controller will cost S$87.90.

Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) Singapore Branch announced today that the PlayStation 4 (PS4) (CUH-1006A B01) computer entertainment system will be launched in Singapore on December 19, 2013 at a suggested retail price of SGD 639. Launched concurrently are 23 launch frame titles developed by SCE Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS) and numerous 3rd party software developers and publishers around the globe. On the same day, 3 bundle sets, each consists of a PS4 system and a selected PS4 title or PlayStation®Camera (PS Camera), will hit Singapore market. Pre-order will start from tomorrow (November 13) and run until December 12, 2013 at all Focus Stores and Sony Stores. Customers who pre-order either PS4 or the selected bundle sets can receive up to 2-month PlayStation®Plus membership and SGD10 PSN Money Voucher. Moreover, SCEH will hold a Launch Event on the launch day. 100 customers are entitled to a chance to receive PlayStation®Vita TV (PS Vita TV), 10-Year PlayStation®Plus membership and limited premiums from AAPE BY A BATHING APE®.

PS4 is a next generation computer entertainment system that redefines rich and immersive gameplay with powerful graphics, speed, deeply integrated social capabilities and innovative second-screen features utilizing devices such as PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita). By utilizing PS Camera, users can expand gaming ways of PS4 and enjoy different gaming experience. Therefore, on the launch day of PS4, SCEH will launch a value bundle set of PS4 and PS Camera. Users can play “THE PLAYROOM”, a preinstalled application, to enjoy Augmented Reality content.
Twenty-three launch flame titles will be concurrently launched with PS4. In addition, SCEH has selected 2 software titles, “Battlefield 4™” (Electronic Arts Inc) and “Killzone™ Shadow Fall” (Sony Computer Entertainment) to be included as PS4 bundle sets and all of these sets will be available at an attractive price and in limited quantity.

To celebrate PS4 launch in Singapore, SCEH is setting up a pop up store outside Wisma Atria from December 19, 2013 until January 1, 2014 to allow customers to experience first-hand gaming on PS4. This is the first time that SCEH has set up a pop up store in Singapore.
Starting from November 14, SCEH will have a new plan on the warranty service for 6 South East Asian countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Customers who purchase PS4 are entitled to ONE YEAR FREE REPAIR SERVICE in countries where the product has been officially launched (including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia), and the warranty will be valid throughout these countries. Wherever the customers are, they can have the repair service for their products.
