The $5 million recording contract of Fox's X Factor 2012 season couldn't have fallen to the lap of a nicer guy. Country singer Tate Stevens, a 37-year-old road worker Belton with a powerful voice and a likeable, family-oriented personality, was a fan favorite from the beginning. Tate Stevens, showed once again that it is never too late to live your dream.
As many hee was also my favorite from the beginning and although Carly Rose Sonenclar equally deserves the winning title, at the age of 13, she has more than enough time to rise to stardom.
Tate Stevens got through his Kansas City audition with "Anything Goes" by Randy Houser and blew the judges away."Tate you have an amazing, authentic, effortless country voice" said guest judge Louis Walsh. "We have found ourselves a guys" he has correctly predicted.
Tate Stevens is actually is not this guy's real name. His real name is Stephen Eatinger. Tate Stevens toured with a band for several years immediately after high school but later has returned to Missouri to settle down and raise his young family, working for the city of Belton. He has joined a local band in 2005 and formed his own band in 2008, releasing an independent album and touring on weekends and holidays.
Tate Stevens has now won a $5 million recording contract and of a Pepsi-produced music video that will air during the Grammys and more importantly a country star title.
