The rooms offered at Porcelain Hotel are very very small so if you need some space you need to book a bigger one (not a 6-8 sqm but a 16 sqm) one. Other than that the location is just great and convenient and the hotel and its rooms are very comfortable and clean.

Little India is the centre for the large Indian community in Singapore. One of the most colorful and attractive places to visit in Singapore, Little India is a sanitized version of the real thing as many Singapore locations but retains its distinct identity without degenerating into a mere tourist attraction.
Hotel 81 Dickson
The newest addition to Singapore's well-know Hotel 81 chain, Hotel 81 Dickson is also one of the best hotels of the chain and a very good budget hotel alternative in Little India. Location is excellent with easy access to Little India MRT Station and walking distance away from Sim Lim Square and Singapore's Bugis region. In the negative side, room are very small (not that small in Singapore cheap hotel standards) and air-con is centrally controlled and maybe too cold for some.
